Manassas-based Imagine is taking its tourism marketing expertise on the road.
MANASSAS, VIRGINIA (May 10, 2023) – The week of May 7-13 is National Travel and Tourism Week, an annual tradition to celebrate travel and its role in the U.S. economy. To celebrate this week, Virginia-based destination marketing agency Imagine is announcing a two-part road trip highlighting some of the Commonwealth’s best destinations.
Specialists in destination marketing with clients spanning the eastern half of the United States and the Caribbean, Imagine is a team of avid travelers. Their approach, as their website puts it, is to “[pile] into a van like a starry-eyed garage band” on July 18th for a three-day trek throughout the eastern half of Virginia. The destinations on the current July itinerary include:
- Prince William County
- King George County
- Mathews County
- Newport News
- Charles City County
A trip to the western half is planned for later this summer.
“Our goal with this road trip is as much to bring our team closer through a love of travel as it is to highlight many of the destinations throughout Virginia,” said Patrick King of Imagine. “When we talk to people outside of the state, they mostly think of Arlington, Virginia Beach, Richmond—the major destinations. We want to show that there is a lot more to see and more reasons to visit Virginia.”
Local destinations are encouraged to share their top attractions with Imagine, allowing them to further expand their current itinerary. They make it clear that any participation does not institute an implied relationship or create any obligation by the destination.
The public is invited to join Imagine’s adventures by following them on Facebook or Instagram. For full road trip details, visit https://imaginedc.net/imagines-2023-virginia-roadtrip/.
